Hotfix

Overview

Hotfixes are fixes to the RollApp that are not part of the RollApp Standard (DRS) and can be deployed by the RollApp operator individually without the need for governance approval.

Types of hotfixes include bug fixes, security patches, and performance improvements and they may apply to any of the RollApp's components.

In order to keep up with the latest updates, please make sure you are subscribed to the RollApp updates announcements channel.

Hotfixes

Prerequisites

In order to apply a hotfix, we assume that you have already setup your environment and have roller installed.

Rollapp Binary

Fixes which update the DRS to the latest binary version, can be installed in the following way:

roller rollapp drs update

This command will not change the DRS version just the binary.
