This first RollApp deployment phase, termed 2D, allows any developer to deploy a RollApp upon the approval of Dymension community members via an onchain governance decision.

Launch testnet

Following the instructions in the build section developers may deploy their RollApps to a public testnet for user testing and feedback.

Prepare Genesis

Preparing the Genesis file is a careful process that helps bootstrap the RollApp. Genesis files describe the starting state of a RollApp in which tokens are allocated, voting power is distributed, and tokenomics are set in place.

Build community

Engaging and proposing your project to the community is a key component to getting an onchain proposal to pass the required threshold.
