Deposit

Users can deposit into RollApps using Dymension, which provides built-in transferring functionality, giving immediate access to liquidity, including native USDC, USDT, and more. Deposits into RollApps are processed instantly and without fees.

When users deposit tokens into a RollApp, the funds are stored within Dymension's core protocol (specifically, the x/ibc module) rather than a custom smart contract or a bridging protocol controlled by a few permissioned private keys. This ensures that users benefit from the full safety guarantees provided by Dymension.

Dymension Name Service (username@domain)

Users can purchase names from Dymension's integrated name service for a more seamless deposit experience. Dymension Name Service provides users within the Dymension ecosystem a user-friendly platform for registering, managing, and trading unique names.

Names (username@...)

Dymension allows users to purchase names that are linked to one or more addresses (e.g., 0xdjf.132 -> user@dym). This feature provides a seamless user experience, similar to sending an email.

Users can buy and sell names at any time. Names are registered to an owner for a specified period, which can be extended as needed.

Domains (...@domain)

Domains are initially registered by RollApp creators during the RollApp registration process. During this process, the creator sets the domain, which is mapped to the RollApp's chain ID. When users deposit funds into the RollApp, they use the RollApp's domain, which corresponds to a specific deployed RollApp.

Additionally, domains can be transferred or sold. Unlike names, domains do not expire after their initial registration.
