Overview

Building and testing the logic for your application may be done in a local or public testnet. The following sections describe how to connect to testnets or deploy your own testnet RollApp.

Public testnet

RollApp X (EVM)

This testnet provides an environment for testing and deploying EVM smart contracts. This testnet requires testnet tokens which may be retreived from this faucet. Addresses may be obtained by visiting the RollApp's Portal page or locally via CLI.

Local testnet

This section provides information on running a RollApp locally to learn how to set up the configuration and launch your own RollApp. This section includes usage of Roller CLI and running a local instance of a RollApp without bridging capabilities.
